Well its been too long since this page has been updated but we have a few things coming up. Firstly we are pleased to announce that we have a new album from Digital Vomit founder and v/vm artist Solypsis coming very soon with some really good quality stuff!!!!!! Then we have the second instalment of the Sampler series featuring Grideye, Flatlander, Placate and more. After that there will be a brand new Placate album which is currently being worked on. The release dates for all the above will be on here soon,,,,,,,,stay tuned!

Our second release for November, a brand new album from a brand new name. Placate is the collabrative works of Datarapist and Solypsis. This album as been in the machine for a fair few months and was hindered by problems. Since the pair embarked on this album, datarapist's laptop vanished into tinker palms during a visit to England. Then Solypsis's computer had a cardiac, killing all the data inside. But between bandwidth and patience 'Derelict' has finally surfaced. A little bit about it:

Built on a history of collaborating with Digital Vomit Records, datarapist and solypsis first connected back in 2005, when solypsis received a track from datarapist called hostile borders. That track was released on solypsis's label 'Couch Fort Records'. Since then the pair have remixed each others tracks many times.

In mid 06, datarapist approached solypsis about this project, suggesting they worked together on some material. Swapping audio and samples, with each artist creating tracks using the others samples, also adding as much new sound as they felt was required.

From electro to noise, the various mix of sounds and styles make this album a truly interesting listen, quite a journey. Hopefully this will be the first of many releases from this duo!

Welcome to the new eardose recordings website. It's been a long time since this site has seen any modifications. As some of you may know, we now have a forum where we can all get together and chat about music related topics or general shit. Also new to this site is the way the audio section is laid out. On the old site you were only able to download any of the e.p's by single track, now you can download the whole release in a single zip file, making it loads easier to get these releases downloaded. The latest stuff will now be at the top and then decending down to the first release.

There is an artists page up now which will have all the artists who appear on eardose. There will be links to the individual artists page with bio's, discog's and other artist related information.

The picture gallery is under construction at the moment but when it arrive's will be displaying artwork and photo's from all earose artists.

I will be tweaking about and adding stuff to the site on a regular basis, so keep ya eye's peeled!

As 2007 is drawing to a close and 2008 will soon be upon us, we here at eardose recordings are on the look out for new talent who would like to join us and release their work. Just listen to what we release already to get an idea on what type of music we deal with. We are particularly interested in any electro or techno material.
